After the selection of jumping stallions for the performance test on Tuesday, 16 stallions were added yesterday. Several sons of the KWPN-approved Apardi (3), Quabri de l’Isle (2) and Baltic VDL (2) were given the green light.
This brings the total to 48 licensed stallions, six of which have received a premium. Today A La Minute Z (by A La Carte NRW), Niwyruso H (by Baltic VDL) and Nirvana V&V (by Farfan M) earned an invitation for the premium ring, which was also finished this afternoon.
The KWPN-approved stallion Apardi left his mark with three appointed sons on this second day of the online KWPN Stallion Selection, which was viewed again by many fans from home and abroad. The KWPN-recognised stallion Quabri de L’Isle also saw two sons appointed, both of whom come from Egbert Schep’s breeding. “Today, just like yesterday, we were able to judge the stallions in a good way. Partly thanks to the good team in the cage, the stallions could present themselves in a calm and horse-friendly manner,” said commission chairman Cor Loeffen, who judged together with Henk van den Broek and deputy Arie Hamoen.
