A break in Simone Blum’s career as a rider

On the same day that Simone Blum (GER) announced that Cool Hill is leaving her stable, she also announced that Cecile (by Conthargos), who competed at 1,45m. level, is no longer at her stable in Solling. And with the sale of her two horses for the highest level, there will also be an emergency break in top sport. “For me this also means a break in my career as a rider at the highest level,” Blum writes on Facebook. “I know that these days are also part of our business, I will never be able to get used to it,” Blum writes about the sale of the two horses. “I am now putting all my time and energy into training young horses and hope that in two years I can then compete again at the highest level.” And Blum, of course, also has world champion DSP Alice in her stable. The mare had surgery for a hematoma this spring and still has a long way to go to full recovery. “One thing remains my greatest wish: to represent Germany with Alice one more time in a red jacket.”
