Arnaud Serre has suffered a broken upper arm

Arnaud Serre has suffered a broken upper arm in an unfortunate fall with one of his horses. The horse of the French Grand Prix rider tripped and fell. Serre did not have to undergo surgery for the fracture, but will be out of action for six weeks. That puts his Olympic dream in danger.
Serre was due to compete at CDI4* Mannheim this week but his wife, Grand Prix rider Anne-Sophie Serre, cancelled. The rider has two horses at international Grand Prix level, Alquazar de Massa (San Amour x Landim) and the Lusitano gelding Vistoso de Massa (Maestro x Xaquiro).
