The prestigious CHIO Aachen was to be held from 25 June to 4 July. However, the organisation of the international show has now decided to move the event. It will take place from 10 to 19 September.
The speed at which the exit strategies from the Corona virus policy have been implemented, have made the organisation decide to move the show. According to tournament director Frank Kemperman, this is the only way to organise an event that can match the regular CHIO experience. “A CHIO without visitors is not an option for us. It is the sport in combination with the atmosphere that makes this event so special. And it is the visitors that create that atmosphere. We hope that in September more will be possible in terms of admitting visitors. It remains to be seen what percentage of the normal number of visitors we will be able to admit.”
