Jumping team announced for Ireland

Ireland announced which jumping riders will represent Ireland at the Olympic Games. The team consists of three regular riders, one substitute rider and one reserve combination. The substitute rider may be used after the individual final for the Nations Cup. Team Ireland will consist of Bertram Allen, Darragh Kenny, Cian O’Connor, substitute rider Shane Sweetnam and reserve Michael Duffy.

Due to the new format, only three riders may compete in both the individual and team events. However, it is possible to make one change after the individual final and this can be done up to two hours before the Nations Cup.
