The first international jumping competition in months was very successful for Dutch jumper Maikel van der Vleuten. In the 1m55 Grand Prix Van der Vleuten and Dana Blue (by Mr. Blue) were the last combination to qualify for the jump-off. Van der Vleuten made optimal use of this nice starting position. Halfway the jump-off of no less than 16 combinations, it was Belgian Jos Verlooy and Igor (by Emerald) who recorded the fastest time of 26.57 seconds. Not all riders after him made any attempt to get there, some just went for a clear round. Swiss Martin Fuchs had a refusal with his new horse Silver Shine (by Califax), who was spooked a bit after a short turn to the pink oxer. Home riders Pénélope Leprévost and Kevin Staut remained clear, but could not beat Verlooy’s time. Dana Blue seemed pretty excited to get out again in a big jump-off. However, the grey mare was neatly managed by Van der Vleuten, who turned as short to the pink oxer as Fuchs had, but experienced no problems. Dana Blue eagerly went through the rest of the course to claim victory in 26.00 seconds. Third place was for Italian Emilio Bicocchi with Evita Sg Z (by Verdi TN), who gave only three hundreds of a second to Verlooy. The fast Frenchman Simon Delestre finished just off the podium with Berlux Z (by Berlin). The combination came in fourth on 26.89 seconds.
