The short Grand Prix temporarily does not apply

The FEI Board of Directors approved the rules for the 2021-2022 dressage world cup in November 2020, including the introduction of the Grand Prix short format as a qualifying competition for the Grand Prix Freestyle. Due to the numerous postponements of competitions caused by the pandemic and the quest of some riders for their qualification criteria for the Tokyo Olympic Games to be achieved on the ‘regular’ Grand Prix, the implementation of the Grand Prix short format on the world cup circuit will apply after June 21, 2021, the end of the qualification period for Tokyo.
